Dua Lipa Concert in Mumbai Leaves Everyone Levitating!

After four long years, Dua Lipa made a dazzling comeback to India. Dua Lipa Concert in Mumbai won hearts as she performed for an electrified audience at Mumbai’s MMRDA Grounds. The 29-year-old global pop sensation, currently on her Radical Optimism Tour, delivered a nearly two-hour set filled with high-energy dance numbers and heart-melting solos.

Lipa last performed in Mumbai at the 2019 OnePlus Music Festival alongside Katy Perry. This time, she looked radiant as she took the stage in a chic white corseted outfit with a mesh overlay. Her graceful moves and iconic hair flips had the crowd roaring from the get-go.

She opened her set with the fan-favourite Training Season and followed up with chart-toppers like New Rules, Be The One, Dance The Night (Barbie soundtrack), One Kiss, and Break My Heart, among others.

“I Love You, Mumbai!”

Clearly thrilled to be back, Dua Lipa didn’t hold back her emotions. “I love you, Mumbai! I am blown away by all this energy,” she said. “Tonight is about us — me and you — living in the moment.”

She called it “a special night,” adding, “I’ve spent a fair bit of time in India—travelling, working, and exploring. The culture, the energy, the people — everything about this place keeps pulling me back.”

Her connection with India shone through as she reminisced about starting 2024 with a low-key trip to Jaipur. Accompanied by her family, she soaked in the vibrant sights, mingled with locals, and even embarked on a wildlife safari.

A Bollywood Surprise

The night took a thrilling twist during Lipa’s performance of Levitating when she dropped a surprise mashup of the song with the Bollywood classic Woh Ladki Jo from Baadshah (1999), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna.

Breaking from her choreography, she grooved to the Indian tune. And, that’s not all. She actually did the same steps that you’d see SRK nailing in this song. It truly sent the arena into a frenzy. Fans couldn’t stop cheering as she embraced a piece of Bollywood magic.

For Indian fans, the mashup is a huge hit on Instagram. Tapping into their emotions and clubbing them with her own love for SRK, Dua delivered what people highly hoped for. The videos of the mashup quickly went viral and netizens were in awe!

Ending on a High Note

For the grand finale at the Dua Lipa concert in Mumbai, we saw Cold Heart, her iconic collaboration with the legendary Elton John. The song, a medley of John’s classics like Sacrifice and Rocket Man, capped off a night brimming with emotion, nostalgia, and infectious energy.

As Lipa herself put it, “Tonight feels really special because I started my year in Mumbai, and now, in a way, I’m wrapping it up here.”

The Dua Lipa concert in Mumbai was really a celebration of music, culture, and connection. And, it was surely a reminder of why Dua Lipa is adored worldwide.
