The term brain rot means a deteriorating state of mind due to endless consumption of trivial and low-quality content on social media. During the year, the word became really popular with Gen Z and now it’s being vastly used in the mainstream. The term truly captures the impact of being too engrossed in a virtual life where aesthetics or entertainment supersedes value. Brain Rot was also termed the ‘Word of The Year’ by Oxford.
Girl Math

If not, your girl math game is not so strong yet! The term ‘Girl Math’ adds a humorous touch to how women rationalise and justify purchasing. The idea is to look at the value of a thing rather than its MRP. So, next time if something is 50% off, as per girl math, you’re saving money if you buy it! In Gen Z slang, ‘pookie’ is a term of endearment used to describe someone you care about, often in a playful or affectionate way. It’s like calling someone “babe,” “cutie,” or “bestie,” but with a more lighthearted and quirky vibe. Think of it as a sweet nickname for your partner, close friend, or even a pet. ‘Cap’ is Gen Z’s way of calling out lies or exaggerations. If someone says something unbelievable, just respond with “cap” to let them know you’re not buying it.
